Your Role:

Working to your strengths, this role will see you introduce and execute marketing 'best practice' across all facets of the business. More specifically you will:
  • Build on and execute the marketing plans and initiatives that will increase brand awareness, grow the customer base and further support the success of the business.
  • Develop further and execute the annual national marketing activity calendar, promotional plans, marketing campaigns, product launches, sales promotions, websites, PR, digital/social media and events/trade shows. Prioritising and managing these in line with activity plans, timelines and budgets will be key!
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with sales, product and operational teams and external suppliers/customers
  • Be keeping ahead of competitor activity and understanding customer needs, so the business and products are always top of mind.
This is a very hands on and a fast-paced role where you will need to be brand defining and innovative in how you execute the marketing across all channels and formats, ensuring consistency in the tone and voice across all of the customer touchpoints.

Here’s what it will take:
  • This one is key: Solid success as a product and sales focussed marketing generalist who has had exposure to the full marketing mix including development of catalogues, flyer, POS and other sales collateral. You may be at a Marketing Manager/Specialist level now or in a Senior Marketing Coordinator role looking to take a step up
  • You understand brands: You know how to build strong brand/product value propositions across different channels and markets
  • Efficiency: Your attention to detail and the way you plan, prioritise and manage all activities to critical project timelines is second to none
  • Strong business acumen: You have experience managing marketing ROI, budgets and planning spend  
  • Your style: you are resilient, driven, fast-paced and an influencer - you can set, lead and drive change and take people along the journey
  • You love the numbers & the facts: You are ROI focussed and performance data-driven, and this is at the forefront of every marketing decision and recommendation you make
