What will you do in an average week?:

In this influential role and as a critical member of the National Operations team you will:
  • Drive the sales, profitability, engagement, growth and retention of the NSW & ACT store network
  • Inspire, lead, influence and develop your team of Regional Managers to reach even greater levels of performance and success
  • Deliver and develop retail focussed strategic initiatives and a performance-based strategy through exceptional relationship skills and leadership
  • Work hand in hand with the broader operational team and other senior stakeholders right across the business to ensure the company strategy and vision is translated into day to day operational performance within your region
  • To promote adherence to the merchandise and marketing programs, and constantly improve the systems and processes to ensure the success of each and every store
Here’s what it will take:
  • Experience in a ‘like for like’ retail operational capacity ideally at a state level (although not essential, those with experience within a member/independent/franchised retailer (or mix of) will be highly regarded
  • Leadership ability:  You are the leader who engages your team in the ‘right way’ to achieve great commercial results.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach:  You embrace change and can flex with ease
  • Strong business acumen:  You can manage a P&L and understand financial levers across operations, merchandise and inventory management
  • Brilliant communication skills: You naturally translate the “vision” into day-to-day operational performance
  • You are a coach and mentor who can foster and lead a culture of change
  • You have strong exposure to market influences and inhabit a strong knowledge of regional demographics, competitor activity and environmental factors
  • Care: You genuinely care; for your teams’ development, for the success of each and every store
  • Results-focused: You have a customer focus, excellent communication skills and a thirst for results
  • Your core: People and the customer is at the core of everything you do
