Your role:
  • Forming a key part of the National Services sales team, in this high-profile role, you will be accountable for identifying and driving new sales growth nationally for medium to large B2B/Commercial organisations who require trade services on a national scale. This will see you working to your strengths, identifying, engaging and qualifying new business opportunities and then working collaboratively with the broader team, for lead conversion
  • Although the prime focus of the role is in uncovering and identifying new B2B/Commercial business opportunities, your focus will also be on building relationships with their top Commercial customers with the aim of protecting and growing existing revenue streams
  • Naturally a key part of your role will be to continuously staying updated on industry trends and competitors, as well us conducting market research to identify high- potential industries, companies and decision makers
  • The role will be varied and will see you developing strong and consistent relationships with clients through regular contact (phone and email), face to face meetings, networking, attending industry events and providing value adding services including presentations and demonstrations in anticipation of their needs.
  Here's what it will take:
  • Essential: is proven success in a B2B/Commercial Business Development role where you ideally have been selling/representing a Trades based product or service solution
  • You have an innate sales drive and hunter mentality. You thrive in an environment where the emphasis of your role is to be the ‘door opener & developer’ vs ‘account manager,’ however you can flex between the two as and when required
  • You have a LOVE for customers – you take pride in ensuring all customers are highly satisfied across every touch point and you are always looking for better ways to service them. In fact, going above and beyond every day is in your DNA.
  • You are professionally mature - You inspire confidence and are incredibly commercial. You have entrepreneurial flair and are always in it for ‘the team’
  • You don’t get intimated easily. You believe in yourself, and your abilities and you have a natural confidence, with zero ego. You are the type to always ‘deliver on your word’
  • You are a humble hunter with a strong bias for action and execution. You are persistently consistent and thrive doing the ‘legwork’ to make the sales happen
  • You are a practitioner and are highly effective at planning, organisation and time management. You know the activity you need to do, to get the results and in the right way. Your conversion rate has always been high as has your track record in driving profitable sales growth
