What will you do in an average week?
  • As a key member of the team in the SA/NT Branch, and 1 of 3 BDM’s, you will continue to build on the strong relationships with the key Distributors for their “General Range” consumable products, ensuring to maintaining their strong brand presence in the marketplace
  • A high touch, face to face, strategic account and relationship management approach will be essential for this role, to ensure that all your accounts will continue to see this organisation as their trusted and reliable “go to” supplier for all their customers consumable product needs.
  • Although there are very strong relationships already withing your accounts, this role will see you continually driving sales growth by identifying new market opportunities as well as further developing the existing customer relationships
  • Well supported by Marketing, you will create and drive sales initiatives, be involved in new product launch campaigns as well as be executing targeted sales and marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence
  • Representing the business and its entirety of products and services at trade shows and industry events will be a paramount, as will ensuring all ranging and revenue opportunities are maximised for the entirety of the organisations product and service range, across all accounts
 Here’s what it will take
  • Essential is proven success in a comparable Account Manager/Business Development role. Your demonstrable track record in establishing and growing accounts and for building strong relationships in the Industrial & Trade space, speaks for itself
  • You have a mechanical aptitude – you have an affinity with product and service solutions relating to the general workshop, refuelling equipment and/or related consumable categories
  • You can travel interstate: likely to be away once overnight in every 6 week cycle
  • You can 'hit the ground running.’ You have a hunger for sales and relationship management, and have that eagerness and relentless passion to do the “legwork” to make it all happen
  • You take pridein your ability to build strong business relationships and the value that you add to your accounts, and you are always looking for better ways to service them. In fact, going above and beyond every day is in your DNA
  • You are highly motivated, passionate and are extremely engaging and set a very high bar and standard in everything you do
  • You are a practitioner and are highly effective at strategic planning, organisation and time management. You have an eye for constant improvement and creating process efficiencies across every aspect
  • Are authentic, charismatic, incredibly well organised and are a credible negotiator and are always in it for the best result for Wholesale Distributor accounts, the end user and for the organisation you represent
  • You have passion: Simply put, you “love” what you do
  • Your stakeholder and relationships management skills are “next level” - you have an innate ability to leverage these strengths and skills to influence, deliver and drive profitable outcomes that are highly sustainable
  • You are professionally mature: you inspire confidence, are incredibly commercial, have entrepreneurial flair and are always in it for “the team”
  • You have always demonstrated sound judgment: in anticipating challenges, problem-solving, and seeking the right resources to resolve issues
