The Role
Reporting to a dynamic leader, who has a strong track record of investing in and developing others to be the best versions of themselves...your role will be hands-on and influential. More specifically you will:
  • Be a key contributor to the development and implementation of the merchandise function and plans
  • Analyse sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to identify commercial risks and opportunities
  • Manage allocations, and stock flow to ensure optimal levels and timely delivery
  • Build accurate forecast models using historical data, software tools, and input from key stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandise, Marketing, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to align plans
  • Partner closely with Category Managers to drive profitable financial outcomes
  • Provide insights and reporting to senior leaders, presenting data that drives smarter decisions
  • Prepare post-season analysis and translate findings into forward strategy
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in merchandise planning within a retail environment
  • Strong commercial acumen—you understand what drives sales and profit
  • Proactivity and adaptability—you’re comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in change
  • A track record of improving and implementing planning tools, processes, and systems. This is a must!
  • Deep understanding of inventory lifecycle management across all channels
  • Ability to develop strategic supplier relationships and stay ahead of stock trends
  • Excellent analytical, time management, and communication skills
  • Creative thinking and customer insight—you see planning as both art and science
