What will you do in an average week?
As the 2IC to the Branch/Regional Manager in Adelaide, plus the key liaison with Head Office in Sydney, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for overseeing and continually improving the daily operations including Customer Service and Warehousing. Specifically, this will see you:

What will you do in an average week?
As the 2IC to the Branch/Regional Manager in Adelaide, plus the key liaison with Head Office in Sydney, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for overseeing and continually improving the daily operations including Customer Service and Warehousing. Specifically, this will see you:
- Working closely with the SA team & nationally: including the Regional/Project/Customer Service and Warehouse Managers of all branches, and for providing fantastic outcomes for the Branch, for the customers and all the team within
- This role is broad and varied and on any given day may involve supporting the SA Branch/Regional Manager with varied tasks that frees them up to be out with the customers, to preparing reports, to planning/carrying out pre-stock takes for the stock holdings for installations… right through to actioning management requests and communicating key points to the team. Other days may see you managing phone inquiries, entering sales orders and diving into other general administration tasks such as receipting of stock and processing credits
- Implementing process and procedures for continuous improvement and upskilling/training the team on these, will naturally be a focus as will taking the lead on key projects for the better of the Branch (eg. WHS, staff engagement, inducting and training new team members).
- Ideal is proven success in a comparable role. You therefore have a strong background in managing office/branch operations with a continuous improvement focus and are known to be that reliable “go to” support for your teams and customers
- Exposure/experience working with the mechanical and/or trade space (or similar) is not essential, however it is a very nice to have!
- You have a passion for continuous improvement. You are the type who is always looking for ways of “doing things better” and comfortable taking the lead on these projects i.e. you have a knack for creating greater efficiencies and in streamlining operations
- You take pride in your ability to build strong relationships and to support others in every way you can. In fact, going above and beyond every day is in your DNA
- You are highly motivated, have a customer focus, are passionate and are extremely engaging. You set a very high bar and standard in everything you do
