About the Role
As the first ever Store Operations Manager, you’ll be the architect of execution and the beating heart of the first store’s success. You won’t be stepping into legacy systems—you’ll be writing the playbook and building the team that brings the bold promise to life.

A week in your world might look like this:
  • Launch Leadership: Own the rollout of the first location in Melbourne’s north— recruitment, execution and frontline readiness.
  • People & Culture: Hire and lead a passionate, high-performance team that delivers a shopping experience like nothing else in the market
  • Execution Excellence: From pallet to shelf, ensure the store flows, feels, and functions in alignment with the value-led vision
  • Operational Strategy: Partner with leadership to shape the SOPs that will scale across the growing network of stores.
  • Agility in Action: Adapt quickly in a retail environment where supply chain innovation and an evolving merchandise mix are part of the DNA.
  • Test, Learn, Lead: You’ll be empowered to explore new ideas, problem-solve in real time, and iterate fast—like a true founder-led business.

What We’re Looking For
Retail Trailblazers: 5–10+ years leading operations in Big Box, club, or warehouse-style retail.
Store Launch & Expansion: You've opened stores before and know what scalable excellence looks like.
People Leadership: You lead with purpose and have built strong, values-driven store teams.
Commercial Acumen: You know your way around inventory, budgets, and driving KPIs that matter.
Resilience & Agility: You're energised by ambiguity and can pivot quickly when needed.
Cultural Fit: You're direct, values-led, and relentless about doing what’s right—for customers, teams, and the mission.
Dynamic Mindset: You’re excited (not intimidated) by a supply chain and product mix that evolves fast and often.
